Meet The Owners

Alicia Olson

Alongside my partner, Rusty Olson, I oversee all aspects of our business operations at A&R Rentals. My primary responsibilities include leasing, advertising, and accounting, ensuring that every part of our company runs efficiently and with care.

I hold an Associate of Arts degree from Allen Community College (2013), as well as both a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Marketing (2015) and a Master of Business Administration (2016) from Pittsburg State University.

Originally from Garnett, Kansas, I moved to Pittsburg in 2013 and began my career in property management that same year as an assistant. After earning my MBA, Rusty and I founded A&R Rentals, where I've continued to pursue my passion for providing quality housing and exceptional service to our residents.

In 2024, our company proudly won Division 3 of Paint the Town Red, a recognition that reflected our commitment to the community and our creative spirit.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and attending concerts with Rusty. I'm a proud mom of twin girls and two dogs, and most of my free time is happily spent with my husband and our kiddos.

Rusty Olson

Alongside my business partner, Alicia, I oversee all aspects of operations at A&R Rentals. My primary roles include maintaining strong relationships with property owners and assisting them in managing their investment properties. I also serve as the head of maintenance, ensuring that every home meets our high standards of quality and care.

I am a 2015 graduate of Pittsburg State University, where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. Originally from Humboldt, Kansas, I moved to Pittsburg in 2012 and quickly found a passion for the property management industry.

In 2016, Alicia and I founded A&R Rentals with a shared goal — to provide well-managed, high-quality rental homes and build strong relationships with both property owners and residents.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Alicia, and our twin girls, as well as attending concerts and catching up with friends on Taco Tuesdays.
